About Zinc Scrap
The physical properties of zinc are strength and toughness. Discovered by Andreas Sigismund 1746 corrosion-resistant zinc plating of iron (hot-dip galvanizing) is the major application for zinc. Most common use for our zinc metal is in the electrical batteries, small non-structural castings, and alloys such as brass.
